New “Ghostbusters” movie said to make good use of 3D

I have not seen the movie, but this reviewer says the use of 3D is done very well, helping to expand the “theater” space from a flat screen to a deep stage.

By shooting this cliff in hyperstereo, I have emphasized the deep crevices in the rocks. When we stand in front of this cliff and look at it with our own eyes, we are unable to see the deep depth of the cracks and crevices. But using the hyperstereo technique, these attributes of the cliff become obvious in this 3D image.

Iranian Photographer awarded PSA 3D Photography Prize 

A former Iranian Young Cinema Society (IYCS) trainee has received 3D Photography Prize held by Photographic Society of America.

Faramarz Ghahremanifar confirmed the story on Saturday as his 3rd and ‘most valuable medal’ in 2016; “the 56th 3D Photography Contest gold medal was the 3rd prize; in 2000, I won a prize also for 3D photography, from Stereoscopic Society of America,” he told reporters.
