What will we do with all of those pixels?
Sell memory!!
I have have a Canon 5Ds with a 50 megapixel sensor and I want more. More pixels mean a better image after cropping which gives you more magnification, so I’ll take it and more.
A friend (PhD in computer graphics) is working a gigapixel camera. So more pixels are coming!
