Presumably he thinks the advent of “talking” pictures did not add value and the later introduction of color, well that just added distractions from the story! In fact, let’s go back to theater stages – no, let’s just go back to books – no, let’s just go back to oral story telling!

Does the world need movie critics? No. In one city where we used to live, the local paper’s movie critic larded his reviews with French phrases and citations to exotic foreign films, usually labeling the American made movie as pointless. At which point we knew it would be a good movie for us to see!

I think 3D will take hold on the Internet before broadcast 3D really gets underway:

Inside the cockpit view on a Citation V flight – GoPro video

The Citation is a small jet built by Cessna, and this is a video made using a GoPro camera recording the cockpit perspective from departure to arrival of an IFR flight. If you are not familiar with piloting, you may be surprised at how much activity goes on up front. A separate video recording showing the out the front window view is added on at the end.

I have a pilot’s license but have not flown in many years as my life’s interests took me elsewhere.
